The perfect Software for Gauge Block Calibrations
This program can be executed together with all current gauge block comparators. With the help of this software all possible special cases, which can occur during a gauge block calibration, can be treated. In a calibration certificate, there can be up to 3 different materials with special measures, different measurement uncertainties and flattenings can be indicated. During the gauge block calibration, the calibration mask indicates the last measured value when using the same gauge block features, such as nominal lenght, manufacturer and identification number. When exceeding the tolerance, the value of exceeding is indicated. In order to verify the conformity with the DIN EN ISO 14253-1 standards, the uncertainties in measurement can be deducted from the limit of tolerance. Gauge block up to 100 mm are calibrated with a 5-point measurement, where as it is also possible to carry out a central length measurement of a 500 mm gauge block for example. Gauge blocks of a set and their calibrating results can be easily transferred into a different gauge block set. The network compatibility makes it possible to calibrate a gauge block set on several comparators simultaneously. In this case, it is guaranteed that all comparators and normal sets are indicated on the calibration certificate. A history of the measured values can be traced statistically. The calibration certificate can be sent via email.
